Job Overview

  • Conduct network infrastructure, Public Cloud (AWS and GCP), and data-layer offensive pen-testing to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen security.
  • Perform manual source code reviews and audits as needed to ensure the quality of software development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop a broad knowledge of attack vectors, exploits, and mitigations to stay ahead of potential threats.
  2. Assess Cloud-native services, service meshes, and Kubernetes-platform based microservices to improve their security posture.
  3. Create written work product, technical findings documents, and pen-test reports to communicate results effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess a pen-test certification or have the willingness to acquire one within a specified timeframe.
  • Have 2+ years of relevant engineering or security assessment experience with a strong track record of successful assessments.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Be proficient in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js programming languages and possess a deep understanding of software development principles.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard threat modeling, risk modeling, and vulnerability classification is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Great interpersonal skills, deep technical ability, and successful execution in the assessments industry are highly valued.
  • A B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with in-house engineering organizations, S-SDLC/CICD software lifecycle, and QA processes is advantageous.
