Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Kantar Group. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers for our Audience measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze and reproduce customer issues, troubleshoot, and resolve customer problems through workarounds or technical solutions.
  2. Follow up on issues through a ticketing tool with permanent dialogue with customers.
  3. Support customers for the installation and maintenance of their systems.
  4. Install and test new product versions, ensuring that product versions are correctly tested prior to release to customers.
  5. Write process or informative notes (FAQ, How to, technical notes) related to the setup, commissioning, and support of Audience measurement systems to assist customers in system setup and maintenance.
  6. Support presales activity through technical advice when necessary.
  7. Commercial working hours, Monday to Friday. Availability to work on call is required.

Requirements

  • Technical experience related to real-time systems implementation in cloud architectures based on Docker/Kubernetes/Linux, ideally in multimedia applications.
  • Ideally, a first experience as a support engineer, test engineer, or field engineer for a systems integrator or manufacturer.
  • Familiarity with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure deployment.
  • Knowledge of Containers/Linux, Elastic Search/Kibana, and Prometheus/Grafana/Loki.
  • Linux administration and networking knowledge.
  • Understanding of IP multicast basics applied to audio/video transport on IP networks.
  • Basic knowledge of network architecture (switches configuration, VPN usage, routing) and experience in network issues debugging.
  • Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting in a Linux environment.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with audio technologies and basic audio analysis.
  • Understanding of TV reception architecture (DTT, SAT, IP) using IP streamers or IP multicast streaming architectures used by broadcast operators.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring tools like Zabbix.
