Senior Financial Operations Specialist

The primary role of the Finance Senior Analyst involves supporting the day-to-day financial operations with professionalism under moderate supervision.
This entails handling more complex duties that require independent judgment, as well as a solid understanding of company policies, procedures, and the importance of trust, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support internal and external audits to meet legal and statutory requirements.
- Reconcile and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
The role also includes reviewing monthly templates submitted by countries to verify accuracy, analyzing income tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with group policies and guidelines.
Additionally, the Finance Senior Analyst will provide support to the LATAM team in finance and accounting matters, review all financial statements, and ensure adherence to SOX requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Accounting work experience: +4 years
- Knowledge of IFRS and direct/indirect taxes of service companies
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Fluent business Portuguese and advanced skills in English and Portuguese
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Dynamic and proactive individual with good interpersonal skills
- SAP experience is an advantage
- Able to recognize and suggest solutions to problems arising from day-to-day activities
- Positive and considerate image to external parties and coworkers
