A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Social Services Therapist (Non-Licensed) to join a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to provide clinical social work services on a designated unit in accordance with the organization's philosophy and objectives.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management services, crisis intervention, and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based clinical social work services to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and recovery strategies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Perform crisis intervention and provide emergency services as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred, 0-1 year of experience required.
  • Social Work or Professional Counselor License preferred.
