We're looking for a High Performance Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will focus on building scalable systems that serve hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

Our approach is simple: low overhead, small teams, and rapid iteration. You will work at multiple layers of our internet-scale system (infrastructure, data, application logic) and build solutions that enhance performance, availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement large-scale systems that handle millions of requests per second and serve millions of users across multiple cloud providers.
  • Develop solutions to improve performance, availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal results.
  • Collaborate with customers and the internal community to source improvement ideas and prioritize capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python, JavaScript, Go, C++, Rust.
  • Experience with monitoring applications, infrastructure, and network.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, including queue-first architectures and sharding.
  • Minimum six years of hands-on experience in related roles (engineering, DevOps, SRE).
