About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team at Cognyte. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with product and solution development in the area of telecommunications and security
  • Participate in a global team to evaluate technologies and develop new solutions
  • Contribute to the creation of new products and features, focusing on improving the user experience and maintaining the company's visual standards
  • Research and develop new tools and products for the telecommunications and security area
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize continuous software testing deliverables and create new testing processes from scratch
  • Automate manual testing scripts and contribute to new test automation architecture, frameworks, and processes
Requirements
  • Domain knowledge in software development process, software quality, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
  • Knowledge in testing strategies, testing scope, testing phases, testing metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Defect Management knowledge
  • Domain knowledge in Test Quality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Execution of manual tests
Preferred Skills
  • Programming skills in Robot Framework and Playwright for test automation
  • Programming skills in K6 or JMeter for performance testing
  • Basic SQL and database knowledge for investigations
