Job Purpose

Support the maintenance of cost accounting records, manage the general ledger, and assist in financial reporting and budgeting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and follow up on Missing IR/GR Weekly Reports, focusing on items due related to cost centers.
  • Track and report the status of Asset Orders.
  • Collaborate with the senior cost accountant on Rollover and ZCFLIP processes.
  • Conduct Weekly Cycle Count Checks, including reporting and governance activities.
  • Prepare Monthly Reports according to established timelines.
  • Manage and maintain ARM Inventory and Aging.
  • Oversee Cost Center Consumption, analyzing both actual and projected figures.
  • Assist in tracking and projecting PPV with guidance from the senior cost accountant.
  • Update and maintain the GAFE Tracker.
  • Analyze Consumables, Expandables, and Production Supplies, comparing actuals and projections against the budget with assistance from the senior cost accountant.
  • Evaluate E&O in relation to Open Orders/PR.
  • Monitor Warehouse Activity using LL01, including aging and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate and prepare month-end journal entries with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the generation of monthly performance reports and assist with flash updates related to REMS.
  • Help respond to internal and external audit inquiries as needed.
  • Assist in managing all master data, including creation, activation, amendment, and blocking requests, as well as any AFE/AFD requests.
  • Support the senior cost accountant and finance lead in implementing processes to address compliance issues and manage ad-hoc tasks.
  • Provide assistance with ad-hoc reporting requirements.

Qualifications

You are a suitable candidate if you possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and reporting systems (Hyperion) is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • A self-starter attitude, being a team player, and the ability to work independently.
