Regional Packaging Specialist

A key role in our packaging team is the Researcher – Focus on Packaging. This position involves ensuring that regional packaging requirements are included in innovation briefs and acting as the regional packaging lead within innovation teams.

Main Activities:
  • Ensure projects and products are delivered according to pre-defined criteria in the briefs.
  • Use appropriate Design for Lean Six Sigma tools, such as FMEAs and Design of Experiments, in cooperation with engineering laboratory teams.
  • Manage the packaging supply and manufacturing base in collaboration with the Supply Chain.
  • Develop and implement new packaging components at a regional level for projects outside the scope of the Innovation Development process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Procurement and Quality Assurance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities for existing packaging.
  • Serve as the Packaging R&D expert, working with Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Procurement teams to manage the LATAM packaging portfolio.
Technical Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Packaging and Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of industry experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering standards, packaging production, and project management.
  • Intermediate level of English and Spanish.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
