The role of Senior Credit Risk Management Professional is a high-profile position within the Institutional Credit Management organization. This senior-level credit risk expert plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and soundness of wholesale lending across the organization.

\Key Responsibilities:\
\

  • \
  • Accountability for delivering best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration.\
  • Leading and coordinating large groups of analysts to ensure quality assurance and timely delivery.\
  • Coaching and supervision of team members, including Credit Risk Analysts, Credit Risk Senior Analysts, and Credit Risk Associates.\
  • Responsibility for a portfolio of Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) relationships.\
  • Continuous engagement with senior stakeholders to understand concerns regarding execution of risk analysis and/or emerging risks.\
  • Ensuring the tactical execution of guidelines reflected in all core deliverables.\
  • Ongoing feedback and coaching to sustain a strong credit culture and an unwavering commitment to excellence in analysis and execution.\
  • Partnership with regional and industry stakeholders in implementing credit assessment and monitoring standards.\
  • Attracting, developing, and retaining top-quality staff through active engagement with regional on-campus recruiting efforts.\
  • Supporting internal projects and initiatives as directed by Global Head of ICG Risk Analysis and Head of ICG Risk Analysis Transformation & Core Operations.\
  • Supporting Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives.\
  • Travel requirements are minimal, less than 10%.\
  • Frequent travel may be required depending on business needs.

\Required Skills and Qualifications:\
\
  • \
  • Demonstrated financial services experience, including 5-7 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management or equivalent credit experience.\
  • Solid knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes and organizational awareness, including IRAU functions, covered portfolios, and processes.\
  • Strong understanding of policies and procedures with the ability to execute change seamlessly.\
  • Credit Officer (CO) or demonstrating skills aligned with that designation.\
  • Impeccable and thorough knowledge of Citi's systems.\
  • Experience in preparing presentations for seniors.\
  • High awareness and adherence to the control environment, including Quality Assurance and Quality Control.\
  • Strategic orientation to ensure the ICM Underwriting organization continues to be positioned as a thoughtful and proactive partner on driving best practices to support safety and soundness within ICM and Citi.\
  • Recognized as a skilled manager with a track record of building high-performing teams.\
  • Proven culture carrier.\
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and exert influence with and without direct authority.\
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability and willingness to work under pressure and manage time and priorities effectively with little to no supervision.\
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority.\
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.
