Academic Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Academic Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in the education sector.

As an Academic Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping the academic vision, supporting our teachers, and ensuring excellent learning outcomes. You will be responsible for conducting hiring, onboarding, training, and teacher evaluations, as well as designing and leading professional development sessions and workshops.

Our ideal candidate has CELTA (Cambridge) certification or a degree in Languages or Education, prior experience as an English teacher, and availability for full-time, remote work. They should also have comfort with digital tools and remote instruction.

Additional requirements include balance of academic rigor and student-centered perspective, strong communication and project management abilities, inspirational leadership with active listening skills, and ownership, autonomy, and a desire to make a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hiring, onboarding, training, and teacher evaluations
  • Design and lead professional development sessions and workshops
  • Establish and maintain GT's methodological and pedagogical guidelines
  • Administer and manage Needs Analysis (placement testing) for new students
  • Oversee the review and development of teaching materials
  • Continuously improve the academic quality and learning experience

Requirements:
