Your Responsibilities

  • Communicate the supply strategy to relevant stakeholders, ensuring financial assessments are aligned with operational goals and understood by leadership across various regions.
  • Provide leadership and commercial teams with forecasts on product quantities and availability timelines, while managing backorder reports and tracking elimination timelines.
  • Implement and oversee essential supply processes within manufacturing and third-party logistics, including Master Resource Planning, Capacity Planning, and Demand and Supply execution.
  • Drive ongoing enhancements in supply planning processes based on established business standards and operational excellence.
  • Advise manufacturing leadership on future capital investments, capacity planning, and opportunities for cost reduction and cash flow improvement.
  • Ensure alignment of production and procurement activities with the supply strategy, measuring deviations to maintain a balanced scorecard approach on key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate proactive communication regarding product availability, supply chain risks, and strategies to mitigate backorder issues.
  • Lead and develop team members, ensuring they receive appropriate coaching and are equipped to fulfill their roles effectively, while tracking and reporting on performance metrics.

Qualifications Required

  • A degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA or master's in supply chain is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Material Planning, Purchasing, or Import roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with planning and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams, including commercial and production personnel.
  • A proven track record in supply and demand planning roles, achieving results through effective team management.
  • Experience leading projects focused on problem-solving and root cause analysis, preferably utilizing lean methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with S&OP and IBP processes, along with the role of supply planning within these frameworks.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is required; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
