Lead Data Scientist Job Description

We are seeking a talented data scientist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for leading advanced analytics projects, developing and implementing machine learning models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in recommendation systems, natural language processing, and conversation engines, as well as experience with cloud solutions such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. You should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related field, and at least 8 years of hands-on experience in data science and related technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing state-of-the-art recommendation and conversation engines
  • Researching the latest developments in AI research and technology, actively incorporating new techniques and approaches to maintain innovation leadership
  • Identifying errors and proactively fixing them, ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, design, develop, and implement advanced analytics projects
  • Presenting project findings and recommendations to peers and leadership
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience in relevant skills gained and developed in similar roles
  • Advanced English skills
  • Fluency in Python, including popular data science packages (pandas, sklearn, etc) and quality tests
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and methods used in the data science field
  • Experience with machine learning model development and deployment
  • Knowledge of natural language processing and conversation engines
  • Experience with recommendation systems
