As our Game Development Policy Specialist, you will be responsible for building relationships with policymakers, regulators, and other stakeholders in key markets across Latin America. This role can be resident in Sao Paulo or Brasilia and will report to the Game Development Policy Lead.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. ", "">
  2. Develop and execute a multi-year government advocacy strategy that maps the interests of game developers and players to the evolving legal and regulatory landscape in those key markets.", "">
  3. Identify emerging trends in game regulation and build action plans responsive to these trends in coordination with our Legal, Product, and Communications teams.", "">
  4. Advocate for policies that support game development and player rights, balancing direct advocacy with effective leverage from coalitions and associations.", "">
  5. Provide context and support for responses to regulator inquiries.", "">
  6. Promote employee awareness and invite employee engagement on our public policy strategy and priorities.", "">
  7. Engage in policy coalitions with peer companies and civil society organizations.", "">
  8. Coordinate and drive compelling returns from partnerships with non-profits and civil society organizations.", "">
  9. Manage government affairs consultants and advisors in Latin America.", "

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  2. 7+ years of professional success at the highest levels of government and/or in strategic public policy advocacy.", "">
  3. Experience developing and executing public policy advocacy campaigns in Brazil, with experience in other key markets (Mexico, Argentina, Chile) in the region a plus.", "">
  4. Insight into policymaking processes in key markets throughout the region.", "">
  5. A commitment to supporting game development and player rights.", "">
  6. Willingness to travel as necessary within the region, with occasional travel to the U.S. as required.", "
