Job Title: Effort Director

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee effort certification and support research financial reporting. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reasonableness, allowability, and allocability of compensation charged to federally sponsored projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in a leadership capacity, where you will work closely with senior directors to provide cost accounting and expenditure analysis to support federal reports and audits.

The successful candidate will have experience in research administration, cost principles, and data analysis techniques used in sponsored program financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee effort certification processes to ensure compliance with federal regulations
  • Assist with research financial reporting, including cost accounting and expenditure analysis
  • Work closely with senior directors to provide strategic support to federal reports and audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to effort certification and research financial reporting
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in research administration, cost principles, and data analysis techniques used in sponsored program financial management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
