Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The role of a Financial Operations Manager is pivotal in ensuring seamless financial reporting and compliance across operations. This position serves as the primary liaison between external accounting firms and internal stakeholders, overseeing the integration of local financial data with global reporting systems.

This position requires strong leadership skills to manage daily transactions effectively, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Additionally, it entails maintaining accurate records according to BRGAAP and USGAAP accounting standards, including impacts of new or changed standards.

A key aspect of this role involves collaboration with outsourcing teams in finance areas, such as accounting, tax, HR, legal, payments, and receivables. Effective communication with key stakeholders outside of accounting, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Country Manager, Human Resources, and Treasury teams, is also essential.

Other responsibilities include managing timely accounting close processes, including data requests from related parties and external accountants; reviewing monthly balances, explaining fluctuations, and summarizing account information. The role also involves preparing daily cash reports and monthly cash reports by cost center, calculating, reviewing, and reporting commissions and reimbursements, and managing merchant reconciliation process and assisting with communications to resolve outgoing and incoming payment issues.

  • Supervise daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records according to BRGAAP and USGAAP accounting standards, including impacts of new or changed standards.
