Linux Technical Account Manager Role

This position involves driving the success of major customers by leveraging Ubuntu and open source products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume direct responsibility for exceptional service on assigned accounts.
  • Gain understanding of partner's technical infrastructure, hardware, and/or product(s).
  • Investigate customer-reported issues through research and collaboration with others across the organization as necessary.
  • Manage support escalations and issue prioritization while acting as a customer advocate.
  • Contribute new articles to knowledge base and maintain existing ones.
  • Be available for on-call support during out-of-office hours on a rotation basis.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience supporting Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenStack, virtualization, and other Cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrable expertise in one or more areas: Advanced storage, Advanced networking, Clustering, cloud computing, Linux integration with other environments, managing customer relationships through consulting engagements.
