Overview:
We are seeking a skilled embedded software test engineer to develop and execute tests for sprayers, ensuring their reliability and quality.
The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and mechatronic systems, data acquisition and analysis tools, and the ability to diagnose failures.
Main Responsibilities:- Create software test plans, identify critical software features, and conduct field and lab tests;
- Implement or review/test specification/test cases for software performance validation;
- Establish and track software test metrics (requirements to test case coverage, test case data, test results, bugs found, bugs escaped, etc.);
- Lead efforts for software test process improvements within our organization.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, or integrating products that were successfully delivered to production, especially electrical and mechatronic systems;
- Proficiency in the use of test lab equipment, data acquisition, and data analysis tools;
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical/software/mechanical issues;
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
- Demonstrated skills in effectively communicating technical data and project information;
- Travel to test sites and customer locations as required to support software testing;
- Able and willing to be flexible in work schedule and travel internationally to support software testing.
- Experience with test plan design and test execution;
- Experience with test automation tools and environments (HIL, SIL);
- Experience with on-machine testing at test sites or customer locations;
- Software development experience;
- Experience with J1939 CAN protocol or CAN tools used for logging and analysis of vehicle networks;
- Familiarity with PV&V systems & tools (Azure DevOps, Rally, Vision, NCCA, etc).
