Job Description:

The primary role of the Collections Specialist is to identify and pursue delinquent accounts, manage sales ledgers, and achieve monthly targets for reducing accounts receivable. This involves reporting progress and issues to senior leaders, assisting in enhancing our collection systems management, and providing detailed reports to business partners.

Key responsibilities include handling incoming and outgoing calls and emails for payment collection, updating account statuses, transferring funds on accounts, and following up on received payments and remittance details.

Requirements:Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience working in collections teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Access, or the ability to be trained.
  • Credit experience and/or customer service experience related to large corporate customers.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Access).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
