As the Director of a developing Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Health Sciences program, you will take the lead in designing the curriculum, courses and overall structure of the DSc program. The new D.Sc. program will be offered as an online program with focused in-person residency experience(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, direct and oversee the Doctor of Science in Health Sciences Program to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
  • Lead program design, development, implementation, assessment and administration.
  • Collaborate with other Program Directors to promote interdisciplinary initiatives and shared resources.
Faculty Expectations
  • Develop and teach courses within the Doctor of Science in Health Sciences program and across related departments.
  • Utilize expertise in online learning platforms, hybrid learning models and adult education strategies.
  • Engage in team-teaching and interdisciplinary education.
  • Participate in scholarly activities, mentorship and service to the academia and profession.
Qualifications
  • Earned research doctorate in a health-related field or equivalent clinical doctorates considered.
  • Minimum six years full-time teaching/administrative experience in higher education.
  • Successful online or hybrid teaching experience with adult learners.
  • Experience with curriculum development and evidence of successful scholarship.
