Key Software Engineering Position

We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead the development of innovative cloud-based solutions.

Job Description: This is a top-tier software engineering position in the corporate payments organization. The successful candidate will have expertise in developing, driving and executing long-term strategies for our cross-cutting and core services. They will define and implement comprehensive architectural roadmaps for our platforms, aligning with business objectives, industry best practices, and other teams.

The ideal candidate will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, empowerment, and continuous learning within their teams. They will continuously challenge the status quo and implement mechanisms to reduce time-to-market using efficient engineering methods. Collaboration with other engineering teams will be key to reusing development practices and components to reduce duplication.

Requirements:

  • Great experience in software engineering
  • Expertise in rapid development and deployment of internal and external services using cloud computing platforms
  • Experience writing high-quality automation including well-formed unit, component, and integration tests
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements in cloud and data environments
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and dynamic decision-making skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building applications in the finance space such as credit card products, accounts receivables/payables etc.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams

This is a mid-senior level full-time engineering position in the software development industry.
