The role of a Clinical Research Associate involves acting as the primary point of contact for clinical sites, ensuring quality and timely delivery throughout the site identification to close-out process. Their primary goal is to establish strong relationships with the site, monitor its performance, and drive it towards successful initiation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage site quality and delivery
  • Develop effective patient recruitment strategies
  • Evaluate site efficacy and staff training
  • Built lasting relationships with clinical sites and staff
  • Ensure trial conduct complies with regulatory requirements

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Clinical Research Associate may be tasked with completing assignments on behalf of the Clinical Operations Leader, after receiving necessary training. They may also be responsible for preparing initial site-related IRB applications and reviewing essential documents in Japan.

Prior to applying, candidates should possess sound problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and take initiative when necessary. They should also have advanced presentation skills, a client-focused approach to work, and strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Additional key attributes include a sense of urgency, effective time management, ability to work across cultures, and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Additionally, they should be able to accommodate extensive travel requirements and hold a valid driver's license where necessary.
