Business Development Manager - Partnership Sales

As a Business Development Manager - Partnership Sales, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and expanding business partnerships at local, regional levels across the country. This dynamic position requires an individual who is proactive, passionate, and capable of creating their own sales leads as well as rapidly converting centrally-driven inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver approximately 10 new partner locations annually by generating awareness and visibility of the partnership proposition in the market through B2B connections.
  • Identify, contact, and pitch prospective partners through a range of business development activities, including networking, local canvassing, and cold-calling.
  • SOURCE partners capable of driving rapid growth of our network through conversion of existing buildings or quickly securing new buildings.
  • Sell a range of partnership solutions to all prospects, converting interest into commercial negotiations, and securing board approval for new partnership deals.
  • Convert commercial discussions into signed contracts with support of the legal team.
  • Spent significant time in the field generating leads, meeting customers, and closing deals.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales and/or B2B business development in fast-growing, dynamic businesses.
  • Self-starters accustomed to self-generating interest and focusing relentlessly on delivering results.
  • Able to find and convert deals quickly with tenacity and dedication.
  • Demonstrable ability to source and deliver multiple deals of meaningful scale (approximately £250k+ investment).
  • Strong communications skills and ability to present compelling narratives to diverse audiences.
  • Able to work under pressure and think independently to create interest in propositions.
  • Exemplary business and financial acumen to instill confidence and credibility in the selling process.
