This role is responsible for providing expert counsel on employment law, regulations and labor practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice on Brazilian employment law to business leaders and the People & Culture teams.
- Lead collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions to ensure alignment with company objectives and local legislation.
- Draft, review and update employment contracts, policies and employee documentation.
- Develop and deliver training for management on labor law compliance and collective bargaining strategies.
- Monitor and interpret changes in labor legislation, advising on potential impacts and strategic responses.
- Manage employment-related disputes, grievances and disciplinary actions, minimizing risk for the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Law; postgraduate specialization in Employment Law or Labor Relations is highly desirable.
- Admitted to practice law in Brazil.
- Strong experience focused exclusively on employment law, preferably within a multinational or technology-driven environment.
- Proven track record in leading collective bargaining negotiations and union relations.
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation, jurisprudence and regulatory landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese; professional proficiency in English is required.
