Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service while supporting fellow colleagues, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coach team members' performance to achieve exceptional guest service, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Quality Control: Audit work of Room Attendants and House Persons in assigned areas to maintain consistency with Accor Hotels' standards.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of guest corridors, rooms, and other specific areas of the hotel as assigned, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential day-to-day operational concerns, determine appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure high service levels are maintained.
  • Training and Development: Ensure employees receive the required training and support to effectively perform their roles, including the completion of annual performance reviews.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of preventive housekeeping maintenance reports and analyses, providing insights to improve our services.
  • Guest Complaints: Promptly respond to guest complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up activities occur, documenting all items according to standard operating procedures.
  • Compliance: Follow and ensure compliance with all corporate, hotel, and departmental policies and procedures, including Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in hotel committees and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required; Hospitality degree is an asset.
  • Experience: At least 2 years housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment required; at least 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure, and experience with Property Manager and Microsoft office suite of programs.
  • Physical Demands: The job is quite active, requiring bending, lifting, and moving furniture on a regular basis, with proper protective equipment and training provided.
