About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Sales Specialist to join our team at Microsoft. As a Senior Cloud Sales Leader, you will be responsible for leading a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue and usage/consumption targets in assigned accounts.

You will be a trusted advisor and Analytics, Data & AI subject matter expert with core capability and expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics, and AI. You will work with customers to leverage data to help them achieve their business priorities and guide their journey through Analytics-led Azure Data transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue targets in assigned accounts.
  • Engage in conversation with customers aligned to their industry and collaborate with account and partner team to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline.
  • Identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively build external stakeholders' mapping, implement strategies to accelerate the closing of deals, contribute input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities, coach junior team members in deal plan execution.
  • Apply role orchestration model and navigate the Microsoft organization to bring the best impact to the customer and collaborate with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identify new partners, develop joint proposals, and contribute to developing partner strategies.
  • Leverage and share competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal.
  • Set up events within Microsoft, mentor others, and develop strategies for best practice sharing, initiate conversations with prospective customers/partners at events, act as a subject matter expert in one or more solution area(s), and collaborate with the 'compete' SMEs internally to analyze competitor products, solutions, and/or services and implement strategies.
  • Drive the execution of projects, partner, and collaborate with other teams on related deliverables, and leverage others in relevant work streams.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Sales Specialist with a strong background in Data & AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English
  • 3+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • 3+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience working with Data solutions (Cloud-based Data Warehouse, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, SQL solutions required MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo), and Machine Learning solutions desired)
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform with emphasis on Microsoft Data platform services, hybrid cloud technologies, developer tools and services, and/or complementing solutions required
