Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Urban Development Specialist. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about urban planning and community development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our Social Territories Programme, which aims to improve living conditions for vulnerable populations in large favela complexes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Composing a responsible team to actively search for families to participate in the programme's integrated protocol.
  • Visiting and assisting selected families at the request of the Programme Coordination.
  • Disseminating the Programme within communities.
  • Supporting the organization of local events.
  • Participating in local meetings as requested.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of urban development principles. Additionally, they will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with report writing.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Social Work, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
