Technical Leadership and Innovation Strategist
Job DescriptionAs a Technical Leadership and Innovation Strategist, you will play a key role in driving the success of our company by managing the development of new technologies, simulation procedures, tools, and analyses to support compressor projects. This involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring project targets are achieved, meeting deadlines, and managing several projects simultaneously.
You will also be responsible for evaluating project results against design requirements, implementing guidelines and procedures to achieve engineering efficiencies, proposing and guiding solutions for component and system design based on engineering specifications and requirements, and managing product competitive benchmarking.
Additionally, you will prepare technical presentations and analysis reports for internal customers, coordinate and facilitate group meetings with internal and external customers and suppliers, and initiate, execute, and track work plans and activities to meet customer requirements.
Furthermore, you will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Required Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree or 3 years of related experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience of 1 to 3 years desirable.
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration components, theory of operation, and practical application.
- Comprehensive knowledge of positive displacement compressor technology and refrigeration systems.
- Understanding of FEA structural, dynamic, nonlinear, acoustic analysis, and CFD, as well as engineering calculations.
- Knowledge of specifications and standards applied in the commercial refrigeration industry.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to respond to inquiries from engineering and internal customers.
- Ability to build and enhance team spirit within global and local CAE teams and in cross-functional collaboration.
- Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and perform assignments often with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and Matlab.
