Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Sky Systems, Inc. (SkySys). As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their desktop systems and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Desktop Support: Provide technical support for desktop systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Help Desk Support: Respond to client inquiries and provide timely support via phone, email, or in-person.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patching, and backups.
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of client assets, including hardware and software inventory.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Windows, IOS, or other computer operating systems, as well as experience with Service Now ticketing system, hardware troubleshooting, and software distribution.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Education: Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in information technology, with a strong understanding of laboratory instruments and related software applications.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with GxP compliance and Computer Systems Validation.
  • Infrastructure: Working understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, with knowledge of laboratory processes preferred.
