Job Role: Technical Service Engineer
Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Service Engineer to provide expert technical support to customers.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, regarding installation, setup, operation, and maintenance of energy storage systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
The successful candidate will interact with customers professionally and courteously, demonstrating strong communication skills to understand their requirements and address their concerns.
Provide clear instructions and explanations to customers, guiding them through troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
Product Installation and Commissioning:Conduct on-site product installations, including mounting and connecting equipment, configuring settings, and performing initial system testing.
Ensure that installations are completed accurately and efficiently, adhering to safety guidelines and following best practices.
Training and Documentation:Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs to educate customers and internal stakeholders on the installation, operation, and maintenance of energy storage systems.
Deliver training sessions to customers and partners, both in-person and remotely, to promote product understanding and self-sufficiency.
Issue Resolution and Escalation:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting or product modifications.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Product Testing and Quality Assurance:Collaborate with local customers, providing feedback to the engineering team regarding product performance, reliability, and functionality.
Contribute to ongoing product development and enhancement efforts.
Requirements:We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field, as well as technical experience in the installation and maintenance of energy storage systems.
- At least 1 year of experience in Technical service roles related to energy storage or renewable energy.
- Effective communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong customer focus, technical expertise, and adaptability.
- Fluent English and Portuguese language required.
