Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide technical support for mechanical systems in thermal power plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical system design, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as excellent communication skills.

  • Provide technical assistance for mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with operators and engineers to ensure safe and efficient mechanical system operations, and develop maintenance strategies.
  • Assist with system upgrades, offer training for plant personnel, and stay abreast of industry trends and standard methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Power Engineering; advanced degrees/certifications in mechanical maintenance are advantageous.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance or assembly within thermal power plants, with a focus on technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, willingness to travel (50%-60%) for plant visits and training in Brazil, Argentina, and Latam, and strong soft skills in customer satisfaction and multicultural work.
