Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to provide expert technical assistance for Balance of Plant (BoP) systems in thermal power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality technical support for BoP systems, encompassing troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance enhancement.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis of BoP-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and customers to ensure safe and efficient BoP system operations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and schedules to improve BoP system reliability and availability.
  • Support the design and implementation of upgrades to enhance BoP system performance and efficiency.
  • Provide training for plant personnel on BoP system operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering; advanced degrees or certifications in BoP systems are advantageous.
  • Significant experience in Balance of Plant (BoP) systems within thermal power plants, focusing on technical support and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of BoP system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective root cause analysis and solution implementation.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment related to BoP systems; intermediate English and basic Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel 50%-60% to plant locations for support and training, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
