Senior Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support for mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Power Engineering and experience in mechanical maintenance or assembly within thermal power plants. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and a willingness to travel (50-60%) for plant visits and training in Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with operators and engineers to ensure safe and efficient mechanical system operations, and develop maintenance strategies.
  • Help with system upgrades, offer training for plant personnel, and stay abreast of industry trends and standard methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Power Engineering; advanced degrees/certifications in mechanical maintenance are a plus.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance or assembly within thermal power plants, with a focus on technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, willingness to travel (50%-60%) for plant visits and training in Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM, and strong soft skills in customer satisfaction and multicultural work.
