Technical Office Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Office Engineer to join our team in Navegantes, Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling your work package.

Your role will involve ensuring that the site is supplied with all necessary documentation, methods, and materials to carry out the works. You will also prepare construction method statements, drawings, job safety analysis, risk assessments, lifting plans, and inspection and test plans for permanent and temporary works.

In addition, you will follow up on the design and coordination of permanent and temporary works with the site team. You will lead the planning activities for your scope of work, interfacing with the Planner and Technical Manager.

You will be responsible for preparing material take-off, requests for quotation, and purchase requests for subcontracts and materials required for the construction activities. You will also coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers and assist in the preparation of work requisitions/contracts for subcontracted works and purchase orders for material supplies.

Key qualifications include a Master's degree in civil engineering in construction, at least 5 years of experience in a construction company, preferably on larger marine projects, fluency in English and Portuguese, and willingness to work on-site in Navegantes, Brazil.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in civil engineering in construction
  • At least 5 years of experience in a construction company
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
