Job Title: Creative Visionary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Concept Artist to join our team and contribute to the development of memorable environments and unique characters for Fortnite.

  1. Collaborate closely with Art Directors and core development teams to drive and visualize various content across the Fortnite universe.
  2. Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of Concept Artists and outsourcing vendors.
  3. Provide timely and detailed feedback for the concept art team and outsourcing vendors.
  4. Coordinate with other art, design, and production teams to help accomplish the goals of the product.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced artist with a strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, craftsmanship, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in AAA game development as a Lead or Principal Concept Artist.
  • An excellent understanding of art disciplines, including animation, character, environment, and VFX.
  • Strong traditional artistic skills, with a focus on composition, anatomy, color theory, perspective, lighting, and graphic design.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to accurately estimate tasks and maintain schedules.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with internal and external teams.
