Mold Setup Specialist

This role encompasses all aspects of die setup – clamping, setting, cleaning the area, removing excessive grease from tie bars, and establishing cycle per cycle protocols.

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of required paperwork and documentation
• Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures (quality policy manual, associate handbook)
• Comply with internal and OSHA safety protocols
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned areas
• Communicate supply needs to supervisors
• Regularly inspect areas for oil leaks, address any issues, and report findings to Process Engineers
• Oversee inventory of Die Setter supplies and maintain equipment in good working condition
• Coordinate supply requests through Process Engineers/Toolmakers/Tooling Manager
• Be prepared to work overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as necessary

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; or six months to two years related experience and/or training
• Certificates: Hi Lo License, Rigging, and crane training required
• Proven ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
• Understanding of material and hopper loading systems
• Capacity to complete mold changes within one hour or less while adhering to safety guidelines
• Able to document machine or secondary issues using maintenance work orders

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds from floor to approximately four feet high and perform this action approximately forty times per shift.
