Job Description

As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient architectures.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Kubernetes, cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and bare-metal servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Scaling and Stability: Develop and implement robust deployment processes and optimize resource allocation to ensure high-performance operation.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure low-latency operation.
  • Cost Management: Implement strategies to optimize infrastructure costs without compromising performance.
  • Enhancing Observability: Improve monitoring and observability capabilities to ensure comprehensive visibility into the health and performance of our infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and applications.
  • Security and Compliance: Contribute to the security and compliance of our infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with industry standards.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, proactively suggesting and implementing improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Kubernetes Mastery: Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Cloud and Bare Metal Expertise: Deep understanding of at least one primary cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience managing infrastructure on bare-metal servers.
  • Infrastructure at Scale: Demonstrated ability to architect and manage infrastructure that can scale horizontally and vertically.
  • Cost Optimization & Resource Management: Strong focus on optimizing infrastructure to balance performance and cost.
  • Programming and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Bash, Python).
  • Monitoring and Observability: Deep understanding of best practices for monitoring, logging, and observability.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Thrive on solving complex problems and constantly look for ways to improve system reliability, performance, and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
