Job Description:

The role of a Customer Care Specialist at Convatec involves providing exceptional technical and non-technical customer service and support across multiple sub-families for business and end-consumer customers.

The job requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

  • Provide customer service and support via phone, online chat, or text
  • Analyze and resolve customer issues in a call center environment
  • Act as liaison between customers, production, and distribution departments related to specific customer orders
  • Provide technical and non-technical customer support in a walk-in service center

The ideal candidate will be able to work under limited supervision for routine situations and provide assistance and training to lower-level employees. They should also be able to analyze complex problems and understand the root cause.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with customers, production, and distribution departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment
  • Provide training and guidance to new employees to ensure consistent levels of service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical education preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
