Job Overview

This role requires an experienced Engineering Leader to design and build scalable systems that handle fragmented financial data, reconcile it, and expose it through reliable interfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Designing services to ingest and standardize data from various sources
  • Creating internal APIs and interfaces for reconciliation, reporting, and automation
  • Optimizing infrastructure for observability, reliability, and deployment simplicity
  • Developing patterns for integrating machine learning and AI features into production systems
  • Establishing a technical foundation that scales with customer usage and product complexity
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in high-quality engineering environments, preferably in startups
  • Ability to thrive in fast-changing environments, taking ownership and figuring things out with speed and autonomy
  • Track record of building reliable systems that handle real-world data
  • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages; comfort with AWS/GCP
  • Familiarity with transactional systems, billing tools, or reconciliation workflows
  • High ownership mindset, strong communication skills, and a bias for action
  • Interest in mentoring future engineers as the team grows
