Job Opportunity: Outbound Shipping Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Outbound Shipping Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and keeping records of outgoing shipments. Your strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills will make a significant impact in helping us achieve our mission of keeping communities fed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing documents: Work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders will be prepared by you to route products effectively.
  • Recording shipping data: You will record shipping data such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Collaborating with teams: Conferring and corresponding with establishment representatives will be your responsibility to rectify problems such as damage and non-conformance to specifications.
  • Safe lifting: Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels is required.

Qualifications:

  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve desired results.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Safety: Willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures is crucial.
