Job Opportunity: Solid Waste Supervisor

The position of Solid Waste Supervisor is available at our facility. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the solid-waste barn, managing workflow, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who can maintain and update records, perform daily equipment checks, and accurately record time worked and equipment hours used in Maximo.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organization of the solid-waste barn and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain and update the Solid Waste Tracking spreadsheet
  • Perform daily equipment checks to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition
  • Accurately record time worked and equipment hours used daily in Maximo

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Relevant training and experience in solid-waste management
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including articulating loaders, graders, fork-lifts, and excavators
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Physical Demands:

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must be willing to serve as a Spill Team Member and be on call for one week out of every four, twenty-four hours a day.
