Ambitious Compliance Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Global Compliance team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in protecting our brand through practical, solution-focused guidance on regulatory and ethics-related matters.

Within the International Compliance organisation, this position is responsible for the execution of the compliance program for the business in LACC. Consistent with local regulatory expectations and our Global Compliance Program.

The role involves collaboration with a broad group of stakeholders across our organization, including General Counsel, Operational Excellence, Global Financial Crime Compliance, Global Privacy, and the Internal Audit Group.

  • Coordination of responses to regulatory requests and managing regulatory interactions
  • Providing compliance advisory on new laws and regulatory changes to enable the business to build appropriate processes and controls
  • Execution of due diligence on prospective and existing partners
  • Liaison with external auditing companies, where required, reporting findings to senior management and overseeing completion of remedial actions
  • Management of the relationship and communication with senior leaders and their wider teams, attendance at senior management meetings, reporting of progress against the Compliance program deliverables

Key Requirements:

  • Degree and/or Compliance Qualification preferred
  • Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance, including knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Anti-Corruption, Data Privacy, and Payments Regulation
  • Experience working in regulated payments companies or banking in Latin America, managing regulator requests and interactions
  • Operational Risk or Internal Audit experience an advantage
  • Strong administrative skills to organize and deliver a broad range of activities
  • Self-motivated, energetic team player with proven ability to drive results in changing and ambiguous situations in a complex matrixed organization
  • Strong relationship and collaboration skills with the ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders across International, at all levels
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and effective manner, adapting communications based on the audience
  • Ability to travel as required across the LACC region
