Exceptional Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Responsibilities include fielding incoming help requests, documenting end-user information, building rapport with customers, prioritizing and scheduling problems, recording and tracking the help desk request problem-solving process, applying diagnostic utilities, accessing software updates, identifying and learning appropriate software and hardware, performing hands-on fixes, testing fixes, and performing post-resolution follow-ups.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic computer hardware, experience with desktop operating systems, and extensive application support experience. They will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and strong documentation skills.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- Documenting, maintaining, upgrading or replacing hardware and software systems.
- Supporting and maintaining user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
