Our client seeks an individual with strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities. You will work closely with colleagues to assemble products and components using various tools and equipment according to specifications.
Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy and attention to detail during fabrication, operating hand tools and measuring devices, and inspecting and maintaining shop equipment for safety and proper operation.
Additional duties may include working on stainless steel fabrication, including cutting, grinding, polishing, welding, bending, and assembly. Travel requirements may arise, and you must be willing to adapt to changing priorities.
Junior certificate or equivalent qualifications are required, with trade qualifications advantageous. Experience with stainless steel, tanks, piping, and vessels is beneficial, as well as proficiency with hand tools and fabrication tools.
To succeed in this role, you must possess basic math skills, blueprint reading abilities, and be proficient in English. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential qualities for this position.
