Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Our global organization is looking for a dedicated professional to ensure our compliance with the latest food and packaging regulations in South America. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing developments in regulatory initiatives, ensuring that internal stakeholders are informed and alerting them to potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to inform and alert internal stakeholders about regulatory impacts and risks.
- Provide effective advice to internal teams on implementing regulatory requirements and identifying potential risks.
- Represent our interests in relevant working groups and trade associations.
- Establish and maintain a network of contacts and relationships with stakeholders, decision-makers, institutions, academia, and opinion leaders.

Requirements:
- Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Experience in the food industry and/or South American affairs (Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia).
- University degree in law, politics, or a related field, or Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, Chemistry, Sciences, or Engineering.
- Strong background in food regulatory and safety.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
