Job Title

This is a key role in the company, responsible for driving business growth and development in South America. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends and be able to analyze data to inform procurement strategies.

About the Role:

  • The Business Development Director will oversee procurement activities across Brazil and other markets, ensuring efficient and compliant processes are implemented.
  • Assist the local CEO in establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and competitive supply chain.
  • Monitor market trends and price fluctuations, optimizing procurement strategies to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Evaluate and develop new supply chain solutions to meet the needs of local customers and companies, including finance, customs clearance, logistics, etc.
  • Participate in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze procurement data, providing reports and recommendations to improve procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure Brazilian agricultural products (such as meat) from suppliers in Brazil and other markets, ensuring efficient and compliant processes.
  • Monitor market trends and price fluctuations, optimizing procurement strategies to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Evaluate and develop new supply chain solutions to meet the needs of local customers and companies, including finance, customs clearance, logistics, etc.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management on procurement performance and opportunities for improvement.
