Technical Proposal Specialist

Develop a new-business turnkey technical and commercial strategy, creating opportunities for growth and partnerships.
Responsible to prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for OPGW solution (materials and related services) and HV turnkey projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all bid preparation efforts, including:
- Developing checklists to standardize bid preparations,
- Managing multiple RFPs (Request for Proposals) and its requirements,
- Gathering support from various sources and collecting necessary information to develop consistent technical and commercial offers to customers.
- Conducting field visits to collect necessary information to prepare commercial and technical offers according to customer needs.
- Serving as the primary interface among Sales and Engineering teams, Hengtong subsidiaries, 3rd parties, and liaising with internal departments (Financial, Legal, Logistics, Procurement, Insurance companies).
- Developing and implementing overarching outbound pre-sales strategies and processes applying best practices across the company.
- Supporting sales structure and pricing with business-value analysis.
- Maintaining and sharing professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and regular presentations about ongoing and future activities.
- Supporting after-sales subjects whenever needed to enhance execution of OPGW and HV projects at HT Cabos backlog and feeding back pre-sales team with improvements on internal processes.
- Supporting commercial team to manage sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 03 years experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals of EPC energy projects, participating in private and/or public RFQs;
- Good relationship with customers linked to Brazilian energy market (GTD segments).
- Desirable: overall knowledge in energy and telecommunications cable markets.
- Experience in pre-sales and developing good relationships with all levels of customers involved since preliminary stages of targeted projects (investors, EPC/Contractors, GTD dealers, civil and electrical project designers, investment funds, etc).
- Experience required in preparing commercial and technical proposals, liaising with internal and external peers.
- Experience in turnkey (EPC) projects involving civil and electrical works.
- Desirable: experience related to OPGW cables and HV electrical cables and its accessories, as well as servicing solutions.
- Good knowledge in dimensioning turnkey projects like OHLs and SEs (civil and electromechanical services).
- Desirable: good experience at HV underground electrical networks (69kV and above).
- Experience in pre-sales contract negotiation and proactive after-sales support whenever needed.
- Basic knowledge in other areas of knowledge (financial, HSE, engineering, risk analysis, HR, logistics, legal, etc.) to ease demands required by customers at GTD energy segments.
- Soft skills: initiative, proactivity, strict process control of follow-up on clients, resilience, entrepreneurial footprint, articulate, good relationship with several hierarchical levels, leadership.
- Availability for travel (technical site visitation & support during project design).
- Language: English (fluent or advanced level – constantly speaking/writing).
- Great experience in OFFICE software applications, especially EXCEL tools (macros, information management, project pipeline and backlog reports), POWERPOINT (preparation of business reports, presentations, etc).
- Desirable: good knowledge of TOTVS information system.
