We're seeking a diligent and skilled professional to fill the role of Customer Financial Services Representative - Credit Controller.
This position plays a pivotal part in our organization, working closely with customers to resolve outstanding issues and manage collections portfolios effectively.
About the Position- Maintain strong relationships with customers through exceptional service delivery.
- Be accountable for managing sizable collections portfolios and meeting specific targets related to aging receivables.
- Process payments, reconcile transactions, issue tax certificates, credits, and customer refunds, as well as handle write-offs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Contracts, Installations, and Billing, to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues related to accounts receivable, credits, and collections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve collection rates and minimize losses.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and solve complex problems using multiple system interfaces.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Minimum 2 years of recent and relevant experience in accounting operations, corporate collections, and/or accounts receivable.
- Proven ability to successfully manage large-scale account portfolios.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Interest in finance and accounting.
