We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Financial Operations Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Invoice Processing: Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: Support the accounting team in preparing financial reports and analysis.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Tenant and Property Owner Management: Maintain accurate tenant and property owner records, documenting all interactions and transactions.
- Customer Support: Serve as a main point of contact for property owners, tenants, and prospective tenants, ensuring professional and courteous assistance.
- Tenant Issue Resolution: Address and resolve tenant issues, including maintenance requests, rent payment inquiries, and lease agreement clarifications.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Collaborate with property managers and maintenance staff to schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Accounting Background: Certificate or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in property management, customer support, or accounting roles is advantageous.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in property management software, such as Appfolio, Buildium, Rent Manager, or Rentec, and MS, Google Office applications is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are required.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy are necessary for this role.
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Knowledge of basic accounting principles and property management processes is required.
