We are a global digital infrastructure company that operates over 260 data centers worldwide. Our IT team is looking for a professional to oversee the management of our IT releases, ensuring seamless deployment and execution.

Job Summary

This person will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our IT releases, from planning and coordination to execution and support. They will partner with Scrum and system teams to create awareness of priority and schedule of deployment activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and lead deployments of major releases, weekly patches, and daily changes
  • Use agile methodologies to optimize and improve processes and methodology, reviewing with different stakeholders and impacted parties to ensure they are onboard with changes
  • Lead implementation of process changes and change management cycles, testing, deployment, and support planning
  • Review test, deployment, and support plans to ensure completeness and appropriate level of detail, communicating effectively with stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the release management and stakeholder teams, driving issues to closure and defining the annual release schedule and single global release plan
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews, leading and coordinating Go-Live activities, including execution of deployment plans and checklists
Qualifications:
  • Related work experience in IT release management
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Agile Methodologies, SCRUM, DevOps and Technical Project Management (TPM)
