Job Description:

This position plays a vital role in providing IT support to various projects and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the IT Operations team with monitoring and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including Zabbix monitoring.

The role involves managing IT and telecommunication devices both remotely and in person, ensuring their proper maintenance and upkeep. This includes ordering, setting up, and installing new devices, as well as collaborating with the IT Coordinator and Supply Chain to procure hardware and software.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to foster positive working relationships with external third-party vendors and stakeholders. They should also be able to propose enhancements to IT policies and procedures and think innovatively to generate new concepts and developments.

In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with the IT Coordinator under the guidance of the Senior IT Manager on deployments that encompass both hardware and software installations across multiple sites and FPSOs.

They will also perform other tasks as directed by the IT department, escalating issues as necessary and maintaining effective communication with the technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT Operations team with monitoring and maintaining the IT infrastructure
  • Manage IT and telecommunication devices, ensuring their proper maintenance and upkeep
  • Collaborate with the IT Coordinator and Supply Chain to procure hardware and software
  • Propose enhancements to IT policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the IT Coordinator on deployments
  • Escalate issues as necessary and maintain effective communication with the technical team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a similar role, providing solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Windows 10 or equivalent software; network infrastructure; and server management
  • Experience in network configuration
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Azure, and O365, along with a good overall understanding of networks, software, and hardware
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
